Shamanism is a form of spiritual practice that is found in the roots of almost every culture on earth. It brings us back to our place of origin, to a place of connecting with nature and the spirit worlds in a deep and organic way.

One of the most important aspects of shamanic practice is the cultivating of relationships with the inhabitants of the spirit worlds. In this residential weekend workshop you will be introduced to the archetypal spirits that are found cross culturally in shamanism. Some cultures honor seven core spirits and some honor nine, but these core spirits are always found. They are the keepers of creation and all life, they are the spirits that are here for all of humanity.

Each spirit keeps a different form of medicine (healing power) and we will also work with practices to tap into each of these medicines for personal healing and transformation. We will create personal altars that serve as windows to the spirit world and places to communicate with the spirits to deepen your relationship with them. Part of these altars will be a personal sacred item connected to the healing spirits that will be yours to take home and use in your personal practice.

Our days will be filled with teachings and trainings, our evenings will culminate in ceremonies to move us deeper into integrating the work. There is also a pool available for use between classes.

This is a residential program which includes meals and lodging. We encourage everyone to stay on premises through the entire workshop to cultivate a sense of community and to make sure that you can stay "in the work". Shamanism isn't about "practicing" it is about "living and being".
